2017-2018 Student Financial Aid Handbook
Welcome to Dixie State University! Our office is here to assist you in financing your education. This handbook contains information about various financial aid programs available at Dixie State University (DSU) including summaries of important policies and procedures.
We offer a comprehensive and varied program of financial aid. The purpose of financial aid is to help eligible students bridge the gap between what they and their families can be expected to pay and what it will cost to attend Dixie State.
Financial aid is awarded on the basis of “need” and other eligibility criteria established by the U.S. Department of Education and other state agencies. There is no discrimination based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, pregnancy-related condition, disability, or status as a veteran. All such regulations and policies are subject to change without notice.
To be eligible to receive financial aid, students must meet the required DSU Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards. See the Satisfactory Academic Progress in the Policy section below for full details.
